The 100 women edition

The Škoda Titan Desert Morocco is preparing one of the most special editions of its history. The race celebrates its twentieth anniversary and will do so with many new features. One of them, and possibly the most important, is the #one100women project.

Throughout its nearly two decades of history, the Škoda Titan Desert Morocco has had more than 5,000 participants in their races. Among this peloton of thousands of cyclists, around 10% are women. The record of female participation was reached in 2019: 69 women.

With the entry into its twenties, the race aims to balance the percentages of male and female participation. All actions towards this goal and to promote the visibility of women in the Škoda Titan Desert Morocco will be grouped under SheTitan (Titana).

The first campaign will be #one100women: to get 100 women to register for the Škoda Titan Desert Morocco 2025.

SHETITAN COMMUNITY

To achieve this goal, a community of Titanas will be created to serve as reference and support for all those cyclists who are unsure if they want to participate in the race.

There will be several ambassadors who will talk about their experiences, their successes in the race and give advice and counsel to all women seeking to become Titanas.

Elite cyclists, such as three-time Titan World Series winner Tessa Kortekaas from the Netherlands. International mountainbike references like Hannele Steyn, and a Titan Legend Platinum and Titan World Series pioneer like Misha Sekulova.

Between them and other ambassadors more focused on nutrition and training topics, they will be in charge of helping future female riders. They will explain the secrets of the race, develop specialized plans and organize women’s groups to get them started in the Titan World Series universe.

Because the goal of #one100women is to achieve a historical record of female participation, but the goal of SheTitan is even more ambitious: to create a strong and solid community of Titanas that will take the Titan World Series to the next level.
