Titan Story. Hannele Steyn

Few races in the world can rival the spirit of adventure, sporting challenge and physical demand of the Škoda Titan Desert Morocco. One of them is undoubtedly the Cape Epic.

With a similar age to our race, the South African adventure was born in 2004. And, since then, it has been our southern brother. Of the hundreds of people who have been in that race, there is one name that has been repeated in each and every one of its editions, that of Hannele Steyn. In 2024, Hannele also debuts as a participant in the Škoda Titan Desert Morocco.

South African, Steyn was still looking for new challenges to live with her mountain bike. “I found the Škoda Titan Desert Morocco almost by chance. I was looking for a mountain biking adventure and found that it was taking place in North Africa,” she explains. 

Five stages later Steyn remains on course and is on track to get his first fossil tomorrow in Erfoud. Everything points to the fact that on May 3rd, this Lioness will also be a Titan in her own right.
