Morocco, a paradise for the practice of sports

The African country can boast a great diversity of landscapes that make it a paradise for the practice of outdoor sports.  Mountain bike, climbing, surfing, golf or hiking are just some of the options.

In Morocco we will find a country open to the new times, but with a millenary tradition that will take us to know ancestral traditions and a rich culture. A country with a great contrast of landscapes, ranging from the impressive Sahara desert to the mountainous area of the Moroccan Atlas.

Mountain Bike

A country that can be crossed by Mountine Bike through the tracks of the High Atlas through routes of great interest. Cycling close to picture perfect nature Spinning your wheels in the city or in the Atlas Mountains, is just another thrilling activity you can have! In Agadir and in Marrakech, there are routes in the middle of national parks surrounded by high mountains such as Talassemtane, where mountain bikers are brought together into challenges.

Thrills and adrenaline pumping with Rafting

In the mountains, water provides the excitement and challenge of white water! The Oued Ahansal offers you two days of thrillubg sports ; a 45 km downhill rafting, to reach the famous large lake of Bin el Ouidane, you won’t ask for more stimulating activity.

Sun and surf in the magnetic Moroccan beaches

In the west of the country, you’ll be overwhelmed with the many options of sliding sports. Surfing, kite surfing wind surfing are one of the most popular activities you can enjoy on the beaches of Dakhla, Safi, Essaouira or Taghazout. The beauty of waves in the sunset; you couldn’t ask for more!

Great surfers from all over the world, tick-off the Atlantic coast as an inevitable destination to challenge themselves and indulge in Surfing and Bodyboarding.

Jet Ski, Kitesurfing and Windsurfing on the Atlantic and Mediterranean coasts

In the north of the country, on the Mediterranean coast, enjoy the many activities offered to you. If you want to enjoy the calm waters of the Mediterranean seafront, indulge in the exhilarating moments of jet skiing, kitesurfing, sailing, windsurfing or water skiing. On the Atlantic coast, the attractive beaches of Essaouira, Agadir, Dakhla and Taghazout offer you its popular, jet skiing, and so many more thrills.

The mountainous taroudant

Taroudant is surrounded by walls, of which ramparts make its own charm, that attracts travellers from all over the world. Exploring this region is so tempting that you couldn’t resist.  Uncover the wild nature of it and walk along the summits that stand there.

Nestled in the mountains of the High Atlas and the Anti-Atlas, Taroudant is the starting point for many treks and hikes. Lovers of wide-open spaces, will find serenity with a complete change of scenery that alternate between steep reliefs and sunny valleys. Climb the mountain, cross rivers and torrents, and discover a different side of Morocco.

Enjoy the many excursions out there that will lead you to the oasis of Tioute, 37 kilometres from Taroudant. There, a lush palm grove expands that crosses the surrounding desert. Nearly 4,000 inhabitants still live there growing barley, wheat or carob. You can observe them and learn about their everyday life. At the top of the hill, an ancient Kasbah stands in the middle of nature with a cultural hue with an attractive effect.
